Standing male figure of former Rhodes College president Charles E. Diehl, wearing long academic robes and glasses. The figure stands with feet together, hands at sides. The figure holds a mortar board in his proper right hand, and his robes are blown slightly to the left. The metal was cast and finished to show a bumpy, sculpted texture.
