Summary:
Box construction with velvet-paneled exterior sides, brass ring grip, and paint-spattered glass front. Contains 3 paper parrot sihouettes, mounted on wood backings, paper cutout of 2 parakeets, corks, miniature fork and spoon, pine cone and bark, and dried leaf fronds.
Back and sides of interior covered with collage of German book fragments, baby photo, paper clock face, etc. Column at left covered with collage of German text with penny candy embedded in it.
