Summary:
A waterscape of sailboats on the Baltic Sea painted in geometric shapes with sharp edges that define the planes in the shape of the sailboats, the sails, the waves, and the sunlight. The artist used quick strokes of paint to illustrate ripples on the water, the texture of the sailcloth and wood of the boats, and sheen of the sunlight, giving an overall mottled appearance to the canvas.
