Summary:
Family portrait of Mrs. Carl Meyer and her two children. Mrs. Meyer is seated on a gilt sofa. She reaches back with her right hand to her son, Frank, who stands behind the sofa with his sister Elsie. Frank holds his mother's hand and Elsie has her arm on Franks's shoulder. Mrs. Meyer wears a stain and velvet dress and pearl necklace. She holds an open fan and rests her left foot on a stool. A book is left open on the sofa.
