Opening of Food and Drug Administration exhibition, with Grace Drexler Nicholas, executive director of the General Federation of Women's Clubs; James Bradshaw Mintener, assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare; Anna Kelton Wiley, one of the founders of the National Woman's Party and wife of Harvey Washington Wiley, the chemist who fought for the passage of the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906; George P. Larrick, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration; and Secretary Leonard Carmichael.
