This accession consists of the "Recovering Voices" website and blog. "Recovering Voices" is a collaborative initiative of the National Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of the American Indian, and the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage to work with communities worldwide to sustain and celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity. The website provides information about the project and its research, events, and grant program. It was crawled twice on November 27, 2018, shortly before the site was taken down and content incorporated into the National Museum of Natural History website. This accession also includes server files for the website.The blog was crawled on November 30, 2018. Originally launched in April 2015, it features posts related to the program and its mission.
