This accession consists of the records of Russell Lee, Curator, documenting the planning, development, production, updating, and other activities for the National Air and Space Museum (NASM) and the Steven F. Udvar Hazy Center exhibitions "Amateur-Built Aircraft," "Expeditionary Airfield System," "Portable Airport," "Leroy Grumman and the F6F Hellcat," "NASM Model Aircraft Collection," "Rolls Royce Heritage of Flight Trophy," "Sea-Air Operations," "Sport Aviation," "The Aviation Careers of Igor Sikorsky," "Tiltrotor: Changing the Way Man Flies," "Ultralight Aircraft," and "Ultralights on the Mall." Earlier correspondence dates back to when the Aeronautics Division was known as the Department of Aeronautics.
