Smithsonian sculptors James Fisher, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and Ann Rushforth, Office of Public Affairs, pose with the untitled figure they created from parts of a wrecked car for the "Cars of America--Tomorrow" program on the National Mall, co-sponsored by SI and the Department of Transportation; Paul E. Desautels, Curator of the Division of Mineralogy at the Museum of Natural History, poses with his book, "The Mineral Kingdom."
