Summary:
Consists of records documenting the development and administration of programs that interpreted the exhibitions and collections of the Museum, including interpretive lesson tours, outreach activities, films and orientation sessions, demonstrations, lectures, teacher workshops, publications, and discovery corner presentations during the tenures of Alice Reno Malone, Coordinator of Education, 1975-1980; and Robert S. Harding and Elizabeth M. Sharpe, Education Specialists. Materials include staff memoranda; correspondence with educators and outside consultants on public programs; annual and monthly reports of the Division; Museum exhibition proposals; budgetary files; information on docent training programs, Museum tours, and internships; and educational newsletters.
