Summary:
Consists of records documenting activities of the office. Activities include the publishing of museum exhibit catalogs, assisting museum staff in the writing of articles for publication in professional and semi-professional art journals; securing the printing of invitations for exhibition openings; securing the printing of posters; editing and writing articles for Artyfacts (entitled) and the "American Art" journal, weekly information newsletter for museum staff; and investing fund procedures for museum publications. Some materials date to when the office was known as the Office of Print and Electronic Publications. Materials include correspondence and memoranda, catalog specifications, proposals for publication funding, budget records, price lists, copyright material, meeting agendas, and other related records. Some materials are in electronic format.
