For best Crayon Head, original, of life size, by a boy or girl under twenty years of age, the first premium, a diploma and $20, was given to Heinrich Werz, Eleventh street, St. Louis. The second premium, a silver medal, was taken by the entry of Miss H.A. Parker, of St. Louis, entitled "Happy Thought." [P. 102; see entry 02550136 for other work noted in this commentary.]
