A capital specimen of this very fine artist. The silvery tone of the fore-ground is in admirable contrast with the perspective. The purple of the clouds has faded calmly away, and the air is lucidly serene, whilst upsoars,--broad,--round,--intense and luminous,--the full moon which belongs to the delicious nights of autumn.
