Flowers, in water colors.--MISS EMILIE DOWAY, of Quincy, Ill., bore off the premium, Diploma and ten dollars, on this occasion, and her painting was much admired. It was a graceful picture, truthful to nature, and exhibited taste and talent in its execution. [P. 130.]
