Little is known of this fine picture. [P. 16 (L).] A truly fine picture. Honthorst, a Dutch Painter, 1592-1662, has a "Deliverance of Peter from Prison," in the Berlin Gallery. In coloring it very much resembles this, but in conception and treatment is not to be compared. [P. 16 (S).]
