Catalogue of Paintings in the south room of the Gallery of Yale College. The paintings now hung in the south room of the Trumbull Gallery consist of the valuable collections of D.W. Coit, Esq., of Norwich, and of Joseph E. Sheffield, Esq., of New Haven, who have kindly loaned them for exhibition. The portraits of deceased officers and benefactors of the College, have been removed to the Alumni Hall. The works of Col. Trumbull, of which a separate catalogue is printed, are still in the north room of the Gallery. Yale College, April, 1859.
