23 x 30. $75.00. This Painting portrays one of the most pleasing scenes on the Mississippi. A long stretch of the River extends before the gaze, dotted with many Islands. The east side of the River is bounded by a belt of timber that marks a converging line, contributing to the perspective effect. The foreground stands high above the River.--Two hunters in the foreground have a telling effect. [Distribution List.]
