"Then Boaz said unto Ruth, hearest thou not my daughter! Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens." The Artist has here endeavored to express the sentiment of the beautiful lines of Keats in the Song to the Nightingale. "Perhaps the self same song that found a path/ Through the sad heart of Ruth: when sick for home/ She stood in tears, amid the alien corn." [P. 5.]
