"By Molinaer, born 1627, died 1686. " His style of painting resembled that of Adrian Van Ostade. it is said that he painted in an admirable manner, and his pictures were much esteemed. " The subject now before us is one generally difficult to be made to please, and yet the artist has succeeded. The attitudes, occupations, and good drawing of the figures in their respective delineation, are very well done." [P. 6.]
