Orange to salmon colored flowers bloom in clusters of 4-14 with 57 petals each and grow on stems which are up to 24" (60 cm) long. Flowers are 3" (7.5 cm) across and last about 5 days on the plant.

This shrub rose hybrid is notable for its orange-red buds which open into orange to salmon-colored roses, strong disease resistance, and bushy form. It was named for the 200th birthday of Alfred, Lord Tennyson after his poem of the same name.
