Description:
This recently described orchid was found for sale in a small shop in Indonesia. Flowerless and with bare roots, it took a year to bloom and confirm that it was a new orchid to science. Unfortunately, since it was sitting in a shop rather than growing in nature, it is unknown what its habitat, growing conditions, or potential pollinator could be.
