Range:
Central America
Habitat:
Wet montane forests; 3280-10825ft (1000-3300m)
Description:
When this medium sized orchid was first described in 1841, it was written as “offering little beauty to recommend it for cultivation, but nevertheless deserving of being recorded and faithfully represented.” This seems like an unfair assessment of any plant, but we can appreciate the dedication to record keeping.
