Description:
The Postal Service issued a 39-cent Hanukkah stamp on October 6, 2006, in New York, New York, during the Mega Stamp Show. The stamp was designed by Ethel Kessler of Bethesda, Maryland, and was previously issued with a 37-cent denomination in 2004.
The 40 million stamps were produced by the Banknote Corporation of America, Inc./SSP in the offset/microprint "USPS" process.
