Damaged cover from the wreck of the 20th Century Limited on June 21, 1905 in Mentor, Ohio. A printed note from William R. Willcox, Postmaster, New York, N.Y. indicates "The enclosure was damaged in the wreck of the "20th Century Limited" train on the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern R.R., that occurred at Mentor, Ohio, Wednesday, June 21, 1905."
The cover is addressed: "To Manager / The American Steel & Wire Co / New York / U.S.A". The stamp is Japanese, Scott 103, and the partial cancel reads "PAN".
