Block of 9 stamps. Type I variety, flattened "S" exhibited in the center stamp.
It is position 32 of setting Ie. It differs from the flattened "S" in position 82, 83 or 92 of other setting in that the top of the "S" is concave or totally missing in this flaw. Note that the center stamp has a second flaw, a vertical cut in the "e."
