Description:
The 10.1-cent Oil Wagon coil stamp was placed on sale April 18, 1985, in Oil Center, New Mexico. This 10.1-cent stamp was issued to meet the five-digit rate for bulk third-class mailings. The stamp was issued in coils of 500 and 3,000 and engraved through the intaglio process. The stamp design was by James Schleyer.
