S.S. Leviathan letter from David A. Burke to Chairman T. V. O'Connor regarding the institution of ship-to-shore mail. Written 31 July 1927. In 1923 the World War I troopship Leviathan was ordered to be reconditioned into a luxury liner on O'Connor's urging.
