Description:
U.S. Savings Bond sale sign was likely used at a post office.
A rectangular wooden plaque has a double sided sign with text on the left and illustration on the right: a woman dressed in white carrying a document with the Treasury Department seal in her right hand and a box in her left hand stands in front of the American flag. The text is green: "United States Savings Bonds for sale at This Window". The exact same picture and text is found on the reverse side of the sign.
