Design of this stamp is made up of portraits of Isabella and Columbus. It is not known which artist the painted the original portrait if Isabella. The Columbus portrait is after a painting by Lotto. Printed in sheets of 100, cut into panes of 50 for distribution. Neither Sheets of 100 nor do panes of 50 remain intact. Largest known multiple is a block of 10. Quantity issued: 22,993 (?).
