Notes:
A skull labeled '66-P-13-47' was found in one of Linda Gordon's hold-up cabinets on 9 April 2018. According to the catalog book, USNM 540927 is a complete mounted specimen with a partial skeleton and no skull. The mounted specimen was not found in the 2016 NHB taxidermy inventory, nor is it clear whether the book is referencing a mounted skin or an articulated skeleton, though a disarticulated postcranial skeleton was presently installed in the collection. The occipital condyles of this skull could plausibly match the axis bone, but more research is required to determine whether the skull is a true match or misnumbered.
