Mounted Baleen and Sperm Whale Skeletons - Compiled by T.W. French - Last updated 2012: The World of Nature Museum of Osteology, Oklahoma City, OK –The skeleton of a 15.5 foot (472 cm) male that stranded alive at Hagan's Cove/Sponge Point on the west coast of Florida on April 25, 1990 and died in transit to Sea World of FL, is on display. Future plans include the articulation of a 25 foot male washed ashore at Singing Beach, Manchester, Essex County, MA on October 29, 2003, and a 21 foot animal that first washed ashore near South Beach, Chatham, Barnstable County, MA in May 2004.
