204 mm sl, metamorphic; entered in ledger as albula vulpes, handwritten note in jar says 'albula vulpes (larvae); ledger originally said 2 specimens, then the '2' crossed out and replaced with '1'; this specimen matches garman's description and came from the same albatross station; it cannot be definitely excluded from the type series and is considered a probable syntype
