When rehoused in April 2014, the bone ledger number tag tied to specimen USNM 264830 was 27757. USNM 264833 contained the specimen with bone ledger number tag 27756. It is believed that at some point these specimens were switched and place into incorrect boxes. Since the specimens contain the same identification and collection event information, the specimens were reassociated using the bone ledger numbers linked to the USNM numbers.
