The voucher for this sample was taken from Nelson Hairston's Plethodon jordani transplantation site #10; see Highton, 1998. It was apparently a gray-cheeked animal, identified by R. Highton as "P. clemsonae" when sacrificed and a blood sample taken, but later annotated in the bleeding book as "jordani or hybid."
