No fusion crust is preserved on this tabular stone (9.0 x 6.0 x 2.5 cm). The exterior of the specimen is shiny, reddish-brown with lighter brownish-gold streaks randomly distributed over the surface. One fracture appears to penetrate the sample completely and numerous, smaller cracks are present, many of which are parallel, cover the exterior surfaces. This sample appears exfoliated. When the thin section sample was taken, no fresh metal was exposed on the stone.
