Ninety percent of the exterior of this unequilibrated ordinary chondrite is covered with pitted, brownish-black fusion crust. The interior is dark gray to brown. Metal occurrence is low. There are abundant chondrules visible and most are heavily weathered.
The section shows numerous chondrules (up to 2.2 mm across), chondrule fragments, and mineral grains in a dark brown to black matrix which contains minor amounts of nickel-iron and troilite. Brown limonitic staining pervades the section. Microprobe analyses show a wide range of olivine and pyroxene compositions: olivine, Fa₆₋₂₀, mean Fa₁₅; pyroxene, Fs₄₋₂₃. The meteorite is an L3 chondrite (estimated L3.7).
