# NASA data for EET 96026 Weathering: B Fracturing: A Fa: 3-39 mol % Fs: 19-5 mol % NTL: <2 krad
The exterior is smooth and greenish-black in color with small, light colored inclusions visible. Only a thin, black fusion crust remains in a small area. The interior of this meteorite is dark gray with dark, angular, black clasts. Some lighter colored inclusions are present. The matrix is dull and very fine grained.
The meteorite consists of chondrules (0.5-1 mm diameter), mineral grains and fragments, and a chondritic clast (3 mm across) in a fine-grained silicate matrix. Minor, fine-grained Fe,Ti-oxides and sulfides occur scattered throughout the meteorite. Weathering is minor. Olivine compositions exhibit a broad range (Fa₃₋₃₉), with most grains Fa₃₀₋₃₉. Low-Ca pyroxene ranges from Fs₅₋₁₉. The meteorite is an R3 chondrite (estimated subtype 3.6) and is similar to PCA 91002 (1994, Meteoritics 29, 255).
