# NASA data for MET 00429 Weathering: B Fracturing: B Pairing: MET 00429 Fa: 1-28 mol % Fs: 1-3 mol %
25% of the exteriors have brown fusion crust exhibiting polygonal fractures. The interiors are a charcoal gray matrix with white, light gray and rust colored chondrules, 1-3 mm in diameter. The meteorites are moderately hard.
The sections exhibit large chondrules (up to 3 mm) and CAIs in a dark matrix. Olivines range from Fa₀₋₂₈ and pyroxenes from Fs₀₋₃. The meteorites are CV3 chondrites.
