ALH 82105 is flat with well rounded edges and is totally covered with brown and black polygonally fractured fusion crust. Many oxidation halos are visible on the fusion crust. A continuous weathering rind with thickness ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 cm was exposed when the meteorite was chipped. The center of the stone is whitish-gray in color with few areas of oxidation present. Abundant metal is obvious.
