Notes:
1st visit observations: Spring/seep/wet meadow. Some flow, mud substrate, well shaded, moss, sedges, some grasses. 2nd visit observations: Cold spring in a small grassy meadow; abundant moss; mud substrate. Meadow well shaded by a dense conifer forest. Spring not shown on USGS 7.5' map. Spring Medford District, BLM hydro #2001. Fluminicola, bivalves [Fluminicola n. sp., Pisidium casertanum, and Punctum randolphi]. Medford District, BLM site #47. 8/25/1999 JSD. Hering! Fluminicola n. sp. dip net collected. Restricted to spring source. Dry below meadow, no channel evident. Spring somewhat impacted by elk.
