Notes:
One slide is a micropaleo style slide that has a glass slide with mountant and coverslip (possibly specimen part?) as the cover. The glass microscope slide has a red A on it and the micropaleo slide has a note in pencil which reads "decalcified valve removed form slide marked A because coverslip fell off I. G. Sohn June 22, 1953." It is unclear but it appears that both slides may have part of a specimen ; Various labels need some readhesion to slides. Lots of mountant loss or cavities, A few slides have extreme fracturing and flaking of mountant. 2 slides have cracked and broken coverslips and 1 slide has a broken coverslip with attached spacers but is loose from slide. The specimen (or specimen part) appears to still be present.
