Place:
Manitowish Lake, 4 miles west by south of Boulder Junction. This is along the road going west out of town. The place collected over is some distance below the dam. There is a sign and a short road leading towards the river. At this point the road runs about 100 ft. or less from one of the bends of the river. The river bank rises sharlpy up 50 ft. to the level of the road. At the base of the hill there is a small spring. The collctions were made from this polace to about 1/4 mile upstream, just around the next bend in the river., Vilas County, Wisconsin, United States, North America
