October 1987; Moderately deep water; Native fishermen!; This species appears to have been listed uner a plethora of names, none of which seems to be correct. Abbott and Dance list it as Latirus paetelianus, but there appear to be some differences. Possibly a local variation of this species would have to see intergrades.
