This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.

Notes:

These are skull casts of a Long-finned Pilot Whale. There are two sets of the skull casts, and it includes the cranium and the mandible. The cranium measures around 27 cm x 16.5 cm x 13 cm in size. The separate mandible measures around 21 cm x 15 cm x 6 cm in size.
