Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
These are leaves from a yellow buckeye tree. It has a stem that has five smaller stems extending outwards, with one ovular leaf with tapered tops on each. The specimen is a dark murky brown and overall measures 37 cm x 38 cm, with the leaves each approximately 20 cm x 8 cm. This specimen description was written remotely based on images as part of Amber Kreiensieck's internship in Fall 2021. Collage includes EO 400545, 400546, 400547, 400548, 400549, 400550, 400551, 400552, 400553, 400554, 400555, 400556, 400557, 400558, 400559, and 400560.
