This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
These are leaves from a yellow buckeye tree. It has a stem that has five smaller stems extending outwards, with one ovular leaf with tapered tops on each. The specimen is a dark murky brown and overall measures 37 cm x 38 cm, with the leaves each approximately 20 cm x 8 cm. This specimen description was written remotely based on images as part of Amber Kreiensieck's internship in Fall 2021.
