Notes:
Bones of the flipper; immature specimen.
These specimens are fossilized pectoral flipper bones of an immature whale. While swimming, a whale uses both flippers to stop and steer. Each bone is about 1.5-2.25cm thick and measures between 5cm-9.5cm x 2.25cm-4.5cm.
