Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
A rim sherd of Dogoszhi Black-on-White pottery from Chaco Canyon. The fragment is 9 cm long by 6 cm wide. The exterior has a white slip with painted geometric patterns up until just below the rim. The visible pattern consists of a black banded "L" shape filled with thin diagonal lines. The slip and paint have rubbed away at the top of the rim. The interior is smooth but somewhat uneven.
