Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
Two sherds of black painted gray biscuit pottery. The larger piece is 5 cm by 4.5 cm and the smaller piece is 6.5 cm by 3 cm. Biscuit pottery has been fired but not glazed and is thus very absorbent. One piece has horizontal black bands painted on both the interior and exterior while the other piece has one thick horizontal band on the interior and the exterior remains unpainted.
