Description:
This object is part of the Education and Outreach collection, some of which are in the Q?rius science education center and available to see.
Notes:
A fragment of Pope's Creek ware with a drill hole. The piece measures 10 cm by 7.5 cm. The ceramic was tempered with sand and is quite thick. The exterior is net roughened and the interior is scored and blackened. The piece is composed of 4 smaller sherds glued together. There is a drilled hole in the middle that may have been a mending or suspension hole.
