Place:
North of Esplanda city on road to Jaquera., Bahia, Brazil, South America - Neotropics
Notes:
Unclear whether this is a type of both Paspalum oligostachyum Salzm. ex Steud. and Paspalum salzmannii Döll. Döll apparently based his name (in part) on Steudel's concept but may have included a second element ["Paspalum oligostachyum molle Salzm."] and the US specimens appear to represent the latter.
Also mounted with fragmentary material of type specimens ex herb. Pitt. & Dur., ex herb. Cosson.
