Notes:
This sheet (USNH 2249632) is the holotype of Lonchocarpus nicou var. languidus F.J. Herm., originally at U.S. National Arboretum (NA), sheet stamped "transferred to U.S. National Herbarium 1953". Camargo & Azevedo (2013) err in citing this sheet as isotype and a different US sheet (USNH 2059191) as the holotype; protologue cites the "Type" at NA [National Arboretum], not US as claimed by Camargo & Azevedo.
